After finishing my Executive MBA in fall 2007, lead by Konrad Wetzker, the former partner of BCG Bud office, I decided to join BCG as I was impressed by the diverse learning opportunities in various industries I could participate at the company. After joining BCG I started in energy industry. Since that time I'm spending half of my time in Energy cases but also the other half in Financial Services.

At BCG, you’ll be challenged to find the innovative answer for your clients and you will work alongside them to make it happen. You will look at new and old information with fresh eyes; from your different perspective will see the unexploited segment, the competitive niche, the better operating model. This is the challenge what makes BCG an extraordinary place for me.

Ákos obtained his bachelor's degree in economics from Saint Stephan University in Gödöllő, Hungary and an MBA degree from Corvinus School of Management in Budapest, Hungary.

Before joining BCG Ákos spent considerable time in Banking and IT industry, as worked 4 years at CIB Bank, part of Intesa Group, another 4 years at K&H Bank, part of KBC Group and 1,5 years at Oracle. Ákos joined BCG Budapest office in November 2007 as a consultant and mid of 2010 he was promoted to project leader. He is core member of BCG's Energy and Financial Services practice areas.
