When I joined BCG in January 1999 I didn’t really know what to expect from the company. It was more of an opportunistic decision, based on a job posting and a "let’s try it" attitude.
I faced a very intense experience from the very beginning. The mix of diverse and interesting people and complex problems creates a very challenging environment which you either love or want to run away from.
At the very beginning I made a small attempt to escape, but then I began to love it and enjoyed an amazing intellectual journey. I've had the chance to work at every career level in BCG, from my start as an associate to becoming a partner and leader of the Budapest office in 2007.
During this journey I have played different roles in the firm but one thing has not changed: I continue to be passionate about the amazing mix of a very friendly atmosphere, enjoyable social events, great parties, intellectual freedom, and high quality standards in professional life.
